O resultado do tratamento foi satisfatório, a má oclusão estabelecida inicialmente foi corrigida e a paciente alcançou um ótimo alinhamento dos dentes erupcionados ectopicamente, desta forma a harmonia do sorriso e a estética facial foram recuperados. O presente estudo tem por objetivo verificar o conhecimento das mulheres sobre a prevenção das DST, a abordagem dos artigos e o profissional de saúde em relação a essas patologias. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, com análise qualitativa do conteúdo que foi pesquisado. Esse tipo de pesquisa tem por vantagem é que permite ao pesquisador a cobertura de uma gama de assuntos de forma mais ampliada. Os anos de referência da abordagem dos artigos serão de 1999 até os artigos mais atuais datados do ano de 2015. Nos artigos pesquisados, a abordagem era de assuntos relacionados às DST, os conhecimentos que as mulheres tinham a respeito dessas patologias e a abordagem do profissional de saúde, tais como os enfermeiros.
