                <text>A utilização de parafusos para fixação de próteses é um dos conceitos novos&#13;
introduzidos com os implantes osseointegrados. Os encaixes usados até então&#13;
eram do tipo presilha, grampos ou as próteses cimentadas definitivamente. Por&#13;
um lado, as próteses não tinham muita estabilidade e, por outro, não tinham&#13;
como ser removidas para a avaliação, em vista da cimentação. Com o advento&#13;
dos parafusos, as próteses odontológicas passaram a contar com alguns&#13;
recursos novos, como principal a vantagem de se poder remover as próteses de&#13;
tempos em tempos ou quando necessário, para se proceder a uma avaliação de&#13;
comportamento da gengiva e do próprio osso que circunda os implantes. Essa&#13;
remoção das próteses parafusadas, através da retirada dos parafusos, pode ser&#13;
feita também para avaliar melhor a higienização do paciente e para limpeza da&#13;
própria prótese. A opção por um sistema ou outro deve levar em consideração,&#13;
principalmente, a necessidade da reversibilidade e também a facilidade de&#13;
manutenção dessas próteses diante de possíveis intercorrências. Assim, o perfil&#13;
do paciente e a extensão da prótese devem sempre ser levados em conta na&#13;
hora da escolha do sistema de fixação da prótese sobre implante. Esse trabalho&#13;
objetivou relatar um caso clínico de prótese parafusada na região anterior da&#13;
maxila.&#13;

                <text>Atualmente na Odontologia a procura por materiais estéticos restauradores é cada&#13;
vez maior. As cerâmicas dentais são a principal alternativa, já que possuem&#13;
excelentes qualidades de reproduzir os dentes naturais.&#13;
Além disso, elas apresentam biocompatibilidade e propriedades mecânicas&#13;
significativas para a longevidade do tratamento.[07]&#13;
Dentre elas, podemos citar as Feldspáticas que tem uma estética bem favorável de&#13;
estratificação e é bem indicada para facetas laminadas, coroas, overlay e inlay. [11]&#13;
 Infelizmente essa cerâmica é um pouco frágil e por isso foi associada a ela a leucita&#13;
para reforçar. Assim tendo uma maior indicação para próteses fixas com sub&#13;
estrutura  metálica e coroas metal-cerâmicas. [12,13]&#13;
Temos também o Sistema de fundição (Ceramica Dicor), que por sua vez é muito&#13;
resistente, mas atualmente pouco utilizado já que sua adesão não mostra boa&#13;
performace e as cerâmicas tinham que ter uma espessura significativa para serem&#13;
utilizadas. [15,16,17]&#13;
O Sistema Cerâmico Infiltrado por Vidro (In Ceram) se divide em três categorias: InCeram&#13;
Spinel,&#13;
que&#13;
dos&#13;
três&#13;
tem&#13;
a&#13;
menor&#13;
resistência&#13;
a&#13;
fraturas;&#13;
In-Ceram&#13;
Alumina&#13;
e&#13;
&#13;
o&#13;
&#13;
In-Ceram Zircônia que é mais conhecido popularmente pelos dentistas. Esse&#13;
Sistema foi desenvolvido para melhorar problemas relacionados a fraturas. Sua&#13;
Resistência chega a ser de 3 a 4 vezes melhor que outras cerâmicas. Entretanto sua&#13;
opacidade é comparada ao metal. Por isso não tem indicação para áreas onde a&#13;
translucidez é importante. Ou seja, região anterior,  principalmente de pacientes&#13;
jovens.Além disso essas cerâmicas não sofrem condicionamento ácido, assim&#13;
perdendo ainda mais sua indicação, já que só vão ter união micro-mecânica com os&#13;
dentes e não vão apresentar união química.[19,21,23]&#13;
Já os Sistemas cerâmicos prensados (IPS Empress) são subdivididos em: IPS&#13;
Empress I, que eram cerâmicas feldspáticas injetáveis ou prenssadas, reforçadas&#13;
por leucita e eram usadas na década de 90, onde a sua resistência a flexão era&#13;
maior que das cerâmicas feldspáticas convencionais. E IPS Empress II, que são&#13;
cerâmicas vítreas injetáveis ou prenssadas á base de dissilicato de lítio. Atualmente&#13;
são muito utilizadas já que possuem resistência á flexão de 300 - 400 Mpa, um&#13;
número bem alto se comparado a resistência da IPS Empress I que era&#13;
aproximadamente de 97 a 180 Mpa. Esse Sistema é indicado para a confecção de &#13;
&#13;
 &#13;
7&#13;
 &#13;
coroas de cerâmicas puras unitárias anterior e posterior, inlays, onlays, facetas ea&#13;
confecção de PPF de 03 elementos para dentes anteriores, já que possuem alta&#13;
resistência a contração. Esse Sistema atualmente é também o mais utilizado pelos&#13;
dentistas no Brasil. [26,27,28,29]&#13;
E por último vamos citar o Sistema de cerâmicas fresadas. Essas cerâmicas são&#13;
indicadas para restaurações metal free, inlays, onlays, facetas, PPF e copings&#13;
cerâmicos. Para ser utilizadaa cerâmica fresada, o dentista precisa utilizar um&#13;
sistema computadorizado (Cerec ou Procera). A grande vantagem em utilizar tais&#13;
métodos consiste na possibilidade de obtenção de elementos cerâmicos com muita&#13;
rapidez e precisão. E a grande desvantagem ainda é o custo de todo o equipamento&#13;
CAD-CAM. [31,32,33,34]&#13;
É preciso conhecer cada sistema cerâmico disponível atualmente no mercado,&#13;
desde suas principais características até suas limitações, para saber indicá-lo de&#13;
modo correto em cada situação clínica específica. </text>

                <text>A odontologia oferece vários tratamentos reabilitadores protéticos, entre eles&#13;
pode–se mencionar a prótese removível de encaixe. Este tipo de aparelho possibilita&#13;
uma facilidade de remoção tanto para o profissional quanto para o paciente, entretanto&#13;
permanece estável para mastigação, fonação e deglutição. Trata–se de coroas&#13;
metaloceramicas unidas pelo coping metálico com acessório de encaixe, o qual&#13;
encaixa com outro acessório unido a estrutura acrílica da prótese removível de&#13;
encaixe. Esta, por sua vez, possibilita uma estética e biodinâmica: suporte, retenção,&#13;
reciprocidade, estabilização e fixação. Para este tipo de reabilitação tanto o protesista&#13;
quanto o protético devem estar atentos a confecção de preparos, fazendo uso de&#13;
delineadores, diferenciando passo de inserção da removível com a da fixa, além dos&#13;
tipos de materiais utilizados. Paciente com má higiene, alto índice de cárie,&#13;
periodontite, falta de destreza manual, bruxismo e coroas curtas não possuem&#13;
indicação para este tipo de reabilitação. Após cimentação das coroas e instalação da&#13;
removível, é recomendado não remover a parcial durante as próximas 24 horas&#13;
corridas para não trincar o cimento das coroas fixas.  Preconiza–se que o paciente&#13;
tenha um controle periódico a cada 6 meses para proservar a longevidade do trabalho&#13;

                <text>As perdas dos elementos dentários podem acarretar inúmeros problemas&#13;
ao indivíduo, influenciando diretamente na fala, mastigação e deglutição. A&#13;
ausência de dentes posteriores, pode ocasionar uma redução da dimensão&#13;
vertical de oclusão (DVO), levando ao desequilíbrio do sistema estomatognático&#13;
e diminuição do terço inferior da face, além do desgaste dos dentes&#13;
remanescentes, devido a um excesso de função ou parafunção. O&#13;
restabelecimento da DVO é um ponto chave no tratamento desses pacientes,&#13;
assim como o período de adequação a nova dimensão, através de próteses&#13;
provisórias. No presente caso clínico a paciente apresentava perda de dentes &#13;
posteriores, desgastes nos dentes anteriores e considerável diminuição de DVO. &#13;
A reabilitação oral foi realizada através de coroas nos elementos superiores e&#13;
restaurações em resina composta nos elementos inferiores anteriores. O&#13;
procedimento permitiu adequado reestabelecimento de DVO melhora na&#13;
estética, autoestima e função da paciente. </text>

                <text>O uso de fios absorvíveis espiculados PDO para suspensão da face&#13;
(procedimento de” lifting” facial) é uma ideia bem aceita como técnica de&#13;
rejuvenescimento na Harmonização Orofacial. Em muitas situações, os&#13;
pacientes preferem estes procedimentos, quando necessário, se comparados&#13;
às intervenções cirúrgicas (ritidoplastia) e estão dispostos a obter um resultado&#13;
mais modesto de melhoria estética em troca de diminuição da morbidade,&#13;
observando o volume e a hidratação ou viço da pele. Cresce o interesse por&#13;
tratamentos minimamente invasivos, como fios de sustentação, devido ao&#13;
menor risco de complicações, mínimo tempo de afastamento das atividades de&#13;
trabalho e eficazes em corrigir a ptose e as rítides características do&#13;
envelhecimento. Tudo isto fez muitos especialistas adotarem essa técnica,&#13;
porém dúvidas sobre sua eficácia e segurança limitam sua adoção. Neste&#13;
trabalho será apresentado, através de revisão na literatura, estudo sobre a&#13;
utilização de fios absorvíveis espiculados de PDO, benefícios na suspensão do&#13;
terço médio da face, cuidados para evitar intercorrências e o grau de satisfação&#13;
dos pacientes</text>

Foram descritos os trajetos das principais veias, superficiais e profundas, na área de&#13;

imunológico, destruindo fungos, bactérias e vírus. A ozonioterapia tornou-se um&#13;
elemento inerente ao tratamento de infecções em áreas como cirurgia, dermatologia,&#13;
cosméticos e odontologia. A terapia com ozônio tem uma ampla gama de aplicações&#13;
em quase todos os campos da odontologia e harmonia facial. Suas propriedades&#13;
únicas incluem ações imunoestimulantes, analgésicas, desintoxicantes,&#13;
antimicrobianas, bioenergéticas e biossintéticas. Sua natureza atraumática, indolor,&#13;
não invasiva e relativa ausência de desconforto aumenta a aceitabilidade e adesão do&#13;

                <text>Nos últimos anos, a área da estética facial tem ganhado grande evidência, com cada&#13;
vez mais adeptos a métodos para promoção de rejuvenescimento, melhora no&#13;
aspecto da pele, dentre outras possiblidades na área. Tal avanço tem feito com que&#13;
diversas técnicas sejam estudadas, dentre elas a utilização dos chamados&#13;
biomateriais, em específico os polímeros. O presente estudo tem como foco a análise&#13;
da policaprolactona (PCL) na estética facial. Este é um polímero sintetizado no início&#13;
dos anos 1930, e uma de suas aplicações mais recentes, estimulador de colágeno à&#13;
base de PCL, tem sido utilizado para preenchimento facial, bem como para&#13;
estimulador de colágeno. Suas propriedades físico-químicas e mecânicas específicas,&#13;
viscoelasticidade e facilidade de modelagem levaram à produção de produtos à base&#13;
de PCL com vários formatos e durações dependentes de sua cinética de&#13;
biodegradação. O estimulador de colágeno à base de PCL é composto de&#13;
microesferas de PCL suspensas em um carreador de gel de carboximetilcelulose,&#13;
proporcionando efeitos volumizadores imediatos e sustentados quando injetado. O&#13;
objetivo do presente trabalho é entender de forma mais aprofundada sobre tal,&#13;
especificamente compreender quais as vantagens trazidas pelo PCL na área da&#13;
estética facial.  Foram utilizados como base o banco de dados PUBMED e MEDLINE,&#13;
realizando uma revisão integrativa, do qual se colocou como filtro a utilização de&#13;
artigos escritos entre 2016 e 2021, resultando em um total de 11 artigos, analisados&#13;
ao longo do presente estudo.&#13;
