Foi descrita como sendo uma curvatura oclusal visualizada a partir do plano sagital. No entanto, a limitação do espaço interdentário e da disponibilidade óssea impõe desafios à instalação de implantes convencionais. Neste contexto, os implantes de diâmetro reduzido, como o sistema Narrow Grand Morse (NGM), surgem como uma alternativa viável. Este trabalho tem como objetivo revisar a literatura sobre o uso de implantes estreitos, com ênfase nas indicações, limitações e desempenho clínico, além de relatar um caso clínico de reabilitação do dente 12 utilizando o NGM. A literatura analisada indica que esses implantes apresentam taxas de sucesso comparáveis aos convencionais, desde que bem indicados e planejados. O caso clínico demonstrou que, mesmo em espaço limitado, a instalação do implante foi possível com o uso de planejamento digital e cirurgia guiada, resultando em osseointegração adequada e estabilidade.
