Após os critérios de inclusão e exclusão, 25 artigos foram selecionados para o presente estudo. Desenvolvimento:A literatura científica evidenciaque o bruxismo é frequentemente visto como um problema clínico, capaz de causar efeitos adversos nos tecidos dentários, periodontais e musculoesqueléticos. Além disso, pode ser identificado como um fator de carga excessiva (oclusal) sobre os implantes dentários e suas supraestruturas, o que pode levar à perda óssea ao redor dos implantes ou até mesmo à falha do próprio implante. Conclusão: O bruxismo é um fator que contribui para complicações de implantes dentários, trazendo riscos e falhas.
